Correspondence, memoranda, minutes, addresses, reports, financial records, personal notes, and nearprint, which trace Goldman's activities as a lawyer and Jewish community activist. Due to Goldman's leadership role in the two major American Reform Jewish institutions, the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (HUC-JIR) and the Union of American Hebrew Congregations (UAHC), this collection reflects many events which affected American Reform Judaism from the 1930s through 1970.
